House of Zwide, a South African soapie that premiered in July 2021, is fastly gaining prominence in the country. The e.tv original production serves as the replacement for Rhythm City, which was canceled by the TV channel in late 2020.

The show contrasts two worlds and two families – the Molapo family that resides in Tembisa and the fashionable Zwide family living in Rosebank. The drama series follows the rags to riches story of the well-off and fashionable Zwide family and their ruthless ambition to take the lead in the cutthroat fashion industry.
