A Recap of What Happened on Gomora in May 2022
If you missed the show in May 2002, then it is sure that you missed some exciting episodes. The month threw up some unexpected plot lines that had viewers and fans of the show intrigued and even more hooked to the show.
May 2022 began with a banger as Sdumo and Stompie are seen causing mayhem in Gomora. Gladys and Ntokozo finally end things between them. Viewers also witness the scene in the 9th episode where Sonto offers a reward for information on the looting as Sbonga’s taxi goes missing. Thathi is revealed to be the one behind the looting.
At least two people get shot in different May episodes. In the quest to find out more about Gugu’s kidnapping, Thathi uncovers some surprising facts. May ends with Ntokozo and Gugu coming to terms with their life in captivity and MaSonto finding it a challenge to gain any access to her daughter.

Mazet threatens Pretty that Sonto will lose his life if Thathi doesn’t show up. Zodwa arrives just in time to see Miss Madikizela receiving money from Bongani. Mike Jnr. receives orders from Qhoqhoqho to end Thathi’s life the next day.

It was recently revealed that Zolisa Xaluva, who played the role of Principal Melusi Dlamini, left the show after a stand-off with the showrunners. The reason for the stand-off is as yet unknown.
