Gomora is a South African TV series that examines social and economic concerns as well as the gap between lower and upper-class South Africans. Two families are featured in the series; one belongs to a man who obtained his wealth and success from a bank he owns illegally, and the other to a renowned local businessman struggling to make ends meet.
Events on the show are brought to life through very creative filmmaking techniques. The Gomora teasers for January 2023 are full of suspense, thrills, action, and fascinating events.
A Recap of Happenings on the Show in December 2022Â
Gomora began in December with Sizwe recruiting Ntokozo to assist Zaza and Pretty discovering that there are tougher standards for her new performances. Mabuyase also surprised the Association’s participants by proposing an unusual candidate to join them.
In the long run, Mazet was able to discover the horrifying truth of Lulama’s demise. And instead of dismissing Teddy and Tshiamo, Zakes chose to provide them with a deadline. We also saw Sonto expel Zibuko from his company while Thathi was forced to leave her house behind permanently.
The show ended with Zibuko demanding all of Sonto or nothing at all and the class of 11th graders dreading a rewrite.

Monday 2 January 2023 – Episode 181
The ultrasound causes Zodwa to change her attitude about Sibongile. Mazet is horrified to discover MK’s true identity. Sonto doesn’t care about getting the tavern back; she is prepared to give up her pistol.
Tuesday 3 January 2023 – Episode 182
MK finds that being accepted takes time. Sizwe struggles to find the right answers for Lumka. Gladys watches Nkosinathi fail to stand his ground.
Wednesday 4 January 2023 – Episode 183
MK discovers that it takes time to be welcomed. Sizwe struggles to provide Lumka with the appropriate responses. Gladys observes Nkosinathi’s inability to assert himself.
Thursday 5 January 2023 – Episode 184
Mazet and Zibuko’s chamber is entered by MK, who announces her impending move. Mam’ Sonto feels something in her paralyzed legs, she believes. Scara confesses his love to Sibongile.
Friday 6 January 2023 – Episode 185
The criminal side of MK and Nthabiseng comes out, and they triumph. The worst kind of humiliation is caused by Ous’Tiny for Sizwe. Nkosinathi tries to help Sibongile but receives a scolding.
Monday 9 January 2023 – Episode 186
At knifepoint, Pretty is robbed. Scara finds himself in a humiliating circumstance as a result of his mother. Sizwe is aware that Matric won’t be a piece of cake.
Tuesday 10 January 2023 – Episode 187
The Molefe family is shocked by Pretty’s heist and tries to determine who committed it. MK tries to persuade Zibuko to assist her in obtaining a living. Sibongile is concerned about starting school again.
Wednesday 11 January 2023 – Episode 188
The strong historical chemistry between MK and Zibuko worries Mazet. Much distress is brought on by Sibongile’s expanding belly. To defend “her man,” Zaza embarks on a mission.
Thursday 12 January 2023 – Episode 189
Sonto and Mazet are having problems falling asleep. The information that Zaza faced Lumka leaves Sizwe shaken. Even if everyone is against MK’s idea, she is determined to make it succeed.
Friday 13 January 2023 – Episode 190
Mazet finds herself the victim of an unintended attack. Zaza listens in on a conversation that she wasn’t meant to. Lumka decides to alter her mind regarding a significant choice.
Monday 16 January 2023 – Episode 191
After a close call with a crazy baby mama, Mazet returns to the place she feels safest. Sibongile persuasively argues that she should be the head girl. Sizwe is dropped like a hot potato.
Tuesday 17 January 2023 – Episode 192
Sonto and Mazet make an effort to find common ground. Teddy is bothered by a secret that Tshiamo holds. Zibuko is more difficult to win over for MK than she anticipated.
Wednesday 18 January 2023 – Episode 193
The problem with schoolbooks has a remedy, according to Miss Hlungwani. Tiny is advised by Lumka not to hold Sizwe responsible for their split. In addition to warning Nyalleng about con artists, Pretty confides in her about Sonto throwing away all of their money.
Thursday 19 January 2023 – Episode 194
Pretty attributes all of the events to Mazet. To expose Sibongile’s bullying message, Tshiamo has a plan. Lumka presents flowers to Sizwe. Is it re-love?
Friday 20 January 2023 – Episode 195
Sonto stops Molefe’s main source of revenue. In the most public and humiliating way possible, Sibongile is made aware of her pregnancy. Gladys makes an attempt to negotiate a settlement between Zaza and Tshiamo, but things don’t work out well.
Monday 23 January 2023 – Episode 196
The decision of a careless mother puts her child’s life in peril. Zaza is responsible for Sibongile’s world being turned upside down.
Tuesday 24 January 2023 – Episode 197
Gladys informs the Moabis that they are the subject of a negligence investigation. When Sonto informs them they need to stop selling alcohol and create clean enterprises, Pretty is irate. Scara and Sibongile become close because of her pregnancy.
Wednesday 25 January 2023 – Episode 198
Plans for Teddy’s surprise party for Tshiamo change unexpectedly. Zibuko is a compelling idea, thanks to Detective Nabe. Gladys attempts to assist Sibongile and Scara.
Thursday 26 January 2023 – Episode 199
Zodwa is upset that Pretty and Nyalleng are starting a new business. Sibongile is trapped in a bubble with Scara, Tshiamo realizes. Unaware Bab’Nkomonde is in for a surprise from Mazet and Stompie.
Friday 27 January 2023 – Episode 200
The time has come for Bab’Nkomonde. The gender of Sibongile and Scara’s child is revealed. At Tshiamo’s birthday celebration, Sbonga doesn’t want any boys around.
Monday 30 January 2023 – Episode 201
Pretty clears up her mother’s mess without being asked or questioned to do so. Sibongile is punished by Zodwa because she no longer believes in her. For the day of Tshiamo’s birthday, Teddy and his buddies make alternate arrangements.
Tuesday 31 January 2023 – Episode 202
Pretty finds it difficult to have the tavern back. Sbonga plans how to organize the celebration. MK manages her family’s displeasure.

Kutlwano Ditsele and Lulu Hela are the producers of the acclaimed Mzansi Magic drama series Gomora. The show runs on Mzansi Magic from Mondays to Fridays at 19h30.
