The South African TV series Gomora, which comes in in a straight swap for Isthembiso, follows the activities of two rival families of different economic and social standing as they wrestle for resources that could ultimately make or mar their respective families. In the quest for financial gain, viewers are drawn into the two very parallel lines of the rich and the poor in a typical South African society.

The month started with a bang as Melusi’s revelation created an unpleasant atmosphere for the wedding guests. Ntokozo’s fearful disposition makes him double his efforts to stay away from Qhoqhoqho. Viewers also notice from the first three episodes the genuine attempts Thathi makes to clear the air with Gugu.
Teddy arrives back home with an unexpected guest. Mazet plots her revenge on Sdumo and Brains as Melusi, with apparently nothing to lose, threatens to follow up on Gladys’ demands. Stompie finds out where the duo of Sdumo and Brains are hiding, effectively making things worse for the pair.
Bongani’s past relationship becomes a subject of acute interest for Zodwa, who does all he can to know more about it. Melusi’s hard work and efforts are continuously thwarted by Gladys while Sonto decides to look after Sdumo. Meanwhile, Phumlani no longer has any of Sdumo’s threats and makes one of his own.
March draws to a close as Ntokozo actively pursues a romantic dalliance with Mazet as she begins to regain lost sensation in her legs. Bongani does not like the fact that he is denied access to his children by a rather obstinate Miss Madikizela. Phumlani confronts Melusi about visiting the former’s wife in his absence.
