Charmaine Mtinta is 54 Years Old

Actress Charmaine Mtinta was born in Gugulethu, a township in Western Cape, on the 20th of July 1972. There is no available information about her family background, family members, and life before fame.

She went on to also star as the character Pearl in the SABC1 sitcom Gauteng Maboneng in 2011 and as Aunt Lizzie in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Inkaba from 2012-2013. The Gugulethu-born screen star recently played a recurring role as Zungazi in the 1Magic soapie The River. She first appeared in an episode named after her character, “Zungazi.”

One of Mtinta’s most prominent roles in her acting career is Nomfundo Langa in the e.tv soapie, Scandal! She joined the show in August 2019, shortly after the death of South African veteran actress Nomhle Nkonyeni who played Lulama Langa.

She portrayed Lulama’s onscreen sister, who happens to be a traditional person and someone who is not afraid to speak her mind regardless of any situation. Portraying Nomhle’s sister on the show was not an easy task. However, Mtinta was able to do justice to her role after working on herself.
