Radio host on Hot 97, DJ Ebro, on Wednesday, hinted towards his conversation with Drizzy about a rumred feud between the two rappers. This follows Drake’s longtime beef with Joe Budden, who is one the artists signed under Eminem’s label.

“We talked about Joe Budden,” Darden said. “He was laughing. He was like, ‘I gave him a little look…That’s why Joe ain’t put out the DMs. He keeps threatening he’s gonna put out DMs, where I DM’ed him…The reason he ain’t put them out was because I DM’ed him and said, ‘I hope you get well in this tough time, aka you out here strung out on dope or something.’ So he ain’t put that out.’”

At this juncture, Eminem came into the conversation.

“I told Drake,” Darden added, “That the rumor was that Eminem was gonna gear up to come after him. He laughed. He was like, ‘That’s not gonna happen. He’d never do that and if he did, I’ve got something for him too.’ This was a private convo…That’s what he said.”

Meanwhile, Twitter had a field day pondering on the possibility of this rap battle taking place. True, Drake can fill up a stadium with fans and all, but when he decides to take on the ‘rap god’ himself; Eminem, he just might be on his own.

But wait a minute, there is in fact a bright light at the end of the tunnel… Ebro was only kidding.

He tweeted: “Facts we was joking… Talked about in jest & fools jumped out the window. I ain’t even think it was a big deal.

“It was such a joke and people ran with it… Slow news day. Drake got too much respect for all that…”

Almost nobody sees anything good coming out of this imposed rap battle for Drake. Thank goodness it’s a no show.
