There’s no doubt that DJ Zinhle won’t take any advice from a stranger on how to raise her own child.
Thus, the mother of one and popular DJ hit back at haters who questioned her decision to hide her daughter’s face while posting pictures on social media.
Shortly after she posted a picture of Kairo with an Instagram badge covering her face, her followers wasted no time in telling her it’s uncalled for.
Her decision to hide her daughter’s identity from social media didn’t sit well with some followers who questioned why Zinhle decided to do that when the child’s father, rapper AKA, has posted full pictures of the child on social media.
Thus, while one follower thought it’s strange that she’s suddenly hiding her daughter’s face, another wondered why she had to post a picture of the child if she won’t show her face. “Just don’t post if you are ‘protecting’ your child. There is nothing interesting about seeing her body,” the follower wrote.
As a result, DJ Zinhle took shots at those criticising her decision concerning her child.
“I can do whatever I want. This is my page and she is my child. Hope that’s okay with you,” she wrote.
When the argument became too hot, Zinhle had to disable the comments section on the post. Nonetheless, she left the picture on her page.
In an interview with Ziphani last year, Zinhle said she feels her daughter might be overexposed if she continues to post her pictures on social media. Thus, in order to protect Kairo’s identity on social media, she made a conscious decision not to post her daughter’s pictures anymore.
“I felt like my child was overexposed so the reason I wanted take her off social media is because she is a baby and I thought she just needed time out.” she said.
Apparently, the DJ is trying to protect her child from the chaos that comes with fame sometimes.
