Dancing With The Stars SA: M-Net Unveils The Hosts


Dancing With The Stars SA is one of the shows we are all looking forward to early in 2018 on M-Net 101 Sunday night line-up.

The channel has confirmed that the South African version of the hit series will be live on the small screens from 4th of February 2018. The show will see skilled professional Latin and Ballroom dancers team up with 12 untrained local celebrities who will be putting their best foot forward to compete in a proudly SA version of the BBC Worldwide format Dancing With The Stars. The show will be broadcast live from the very first episode on the first Sunday in February.

While the identity of the celebrities who will participate on the show is yet to be unveiled, M-Net has revealed the two presenters who will co-host the show. The South African version of the hit series which has been licensed to over 50 countries around the world, will be co-hosted by lively radio and television presenter Tracey Lange and hunky musical theatre actor and model, Chris Jaftha.

Nevertheless, the professional dancers and esteemed judging panel who will preside over Dancing With The Stars SA have not been made public yet.

“M-Net is leaping with excitement about creating this glitzy, classy and fun show for the enjoyment of our viewers,” says M-Net’s Head of Publicity Lani Lombard. “Dancing With The Stars oozes all of the glamour, drama, and magical moments that M-Net 101 has become known for and Tracey and Chris are the perfect pair to host the fast-paced live broadcasts.”
