Cassper Nyovest: ‘I Almost Sold My Cars’, Says ‘Broke’ Rapper

It’s barely a month to go before Cassper Nyovest attempts to fill up FNB Stadium and it appears things are not yet in order.

Speaking of his Fill Up FNB Stadium concert in an interview with Masechaba Ndlovu on Metro FM‘s The Drive with MoFlava and Masechaba, the rapper declared himself broke, saying “i’m broke, I don’t have money.”

According to Cassper, the show would cost him R15 million to put together and so far, he has spent so much money on it that he had to owe two of his employees. It also seems the storm is not calming down as the rapper revealed that was looking to sell one of his luxury cars to make ends meet.

“I’m broke as hell. I almost sold my cars. I am flat broke. I have two employees that haven’t been paid this month. This is the first time since (Fill Up) The Dome that I don’t have money, I am in debt,” he said.

While he was so desperate to make the show a reality that he was willing to sell his car to get money, it seems he’s still looking for a buyer.

“I was about to sell my cars. And this dude that was going to buy my cars, something happened in his family so he couldn’t buy the cars. So, I’m looking for someone to buy my cars. I am all the way in because for me it is not about making money. It’s about inspiring people and going all in. I don’t mind losing everything,” he said.

Cassper also claimed that he’s making the show happen just to inspire people to do great things, not for the money.

“The show does not make money. We don’t make a profit; I’m investing in the industry and the name Cassper Nyovest. In time I will be amongst the greatest although I didn’t make enough money to show it.”

In the meantime, Cassper Nyovest is still in the market for supporters and sponsors for his upcoming Fill Up FNB Stadium concert. He has done some incredible things in the past and we are sure he will do it again, but not without the support of fans.
