American TV personality and former Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete Caitlyn Jenner is reportedly all set to pose unclad for Sports Illustrated.
Formerly known as Bruce Jenner before her gender transition, the 66-year-old reality TV icon will be wearing only an American flag, accessorized with her Olympic gold medal to celebrate the 40th anniversary of her win as she set a world decathlon record at the Montreal Summer Games in 1976.
A source revealed that Caitlyn Jenner is so excited and filled with anticipation about the whole photo shoot “Caitlyn will wear nothing but an American flag and her Olympic medal. She’s excited about it.”
The shoot will be similar to the one taken by one of Jenner’s former wives Kris Jenner, who participated in a racy photo shoot wearing only the US flag while holding a medal in 2007.
Jenner said she prized her gold medal so much and tries to keep it away from her children to avoid giving them the impression that they need a gold medal to be successful in life. And also so that her children, Kylie, 18, Kendall, 20, Brody, 32, Brandon, 34, Casey, 35, and Burt, 37, do not compare themselves to her.
“My gold medal is my most prized possession – I’m so proud of it.
“I never wanted my kids to feel like they had to have a gold medal in order to be considered a success.
“I’m very proud of it,” she said.
It is true that Miss Caitlyn Jenner is proud of her success in the Olympics, but she is even happier now as she transformed to her true self by coming out as transgender.
“That was a great time in my life, but to be honest with you, it’s even a greater time in my life right now with what I’m trying to accomplish,” she said excitedly.
