South African top-notch comedian Trevor Noah has seriously weighed in on the devastating news that Hollywood’s loved-up couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have filed for a divorce.
The Brangelina split set the internet on fire earlier this week.
Noah who hosts The Daily Show with Trevor Noah couldn’t wrap his mind around this biggest break-up of the year. Thus, speaking on the daily show on Wednesday evening, Noah acted devastated as he talked about the Brangelina split.
With a mixture of humor and devastation, Noah said;
“I can’t believe that Angelina is leaving Brad. So, no more Brangelina? Is this a Brad-xit? Ange-leave-here?”
Just when we thought it couldn’t get any funnier, the comedian went on to joke about how Africans will be even more devastated about the split. In addition, he suggested that the pair were the reason why he got where he is now (America).
“You think that you are devastated? Think of how Africans are feeling right now! These two were our only way out. How do you think I got here?” he added.

American actress Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from her husband Brad Pitt after 12 years of being together. She cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the decision.
Meanwhile, she wants to be granted physical custody of their six children. While Pitt will be allowed visitation rights, the actress isn’t asking for spousal support. An anonymous source close to the couple said Jolie arrived at the decision to file for divorce because of ‘Brad’s way of parenting the children.’ In fact, ‘she was extremely upset with his methods.’
Though married in 2014, Angelina Jolie has been with Brad Pitt since 2004. They originally met on the set of action comedy Mr. and Mrs. Smith. They were also seen on screen together in 2015’s By the Sea, which wasn’t as successful as Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
Notably, the couple has not been seen together in months as we are used to. They were last photographed at an event together in November 2015, while promoting their film By the Sea.
Nevertheless, the pair have six children together – Maddox; Pax; Zahara; Shiloh; and twins Knox and Vivienne.
