Black Motion has been lighting up the dance floor in Southern Africa with good music since 2010. Early 2010, Robert (DJ Murda) Mahosana and percussionist Thabo “Smol” Mabogwane decided to join forces. Prior to coming together, they had already been producing music separately for years.

Apparently, the decision was a good one as the music sensations have been making good music together ever since. Also, they have worked with big shots in the industry including DJ Black Coffee, DJ Oskido, award-winning vocalist Bantu Soul to mention but a few.

Earlier this month, SA rap icon Black Coffee revealed that his latest EP, The Journey Continues, had been certified gold. Even more exciting is the fact that the record struck gold within 24 hours of its release on Friday, 2 December.

DJ Black released the much-anticipated EP on Friday morning. After a few hours, he took to Twitter with the news that the record had gone gold.

This year has been kind to the DJ who bagged several awards and recognition across the globe. His latest award was scooped at the 2016 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA)
