BuzzSouthAfrica has been informed that disciplinary proceedings will be instituted against EFF councillors who refused to obey the party instructions.
What did they do? The EFF councillors in Mogale voted in favour of the ANC budget vote.
Reacting to the incident, EFF asserted that what the councillors did is the highest form of defiance.
“The EFF has taken note of what has happened at the Mogale City Council budget vote. EFF councillors voted together and for the ANC budget.
“This is the highest form of defiance of the revolutionary tenants of the Economic Freedom Fighters,” read a statement the party issued.
The EFF councillors have normalised corruption and criminality
According to Malema’s party, the councillors were mandated to not “vote with corrupt ANC.
“…That is, they must not vote so that the people’s money is put in the hands of the African National Criminals who do nothing but steal.”
With the above, the party upheld that the councillors didn’t only go against the resolutions of the EFF. They also rendered “the non-negotiable cardinal pillar on anti-corruption futile.”
“…By voting for the ANC, they have become complicit in normalising corruption and criminality,” EFF stated.
The EFF councillors will face disciplinary action
EFF won’t tolerate corruption or anyone normalising it. The party is waiting for a formal report on what the councillors did. Once the report has been received, the party will institute disciplinary proceedings against the councillors.
“It is the pending resolution of the Central Command Team of the EFF that from Parliament, Legislature, Metros and Municipalities we must never vote with the ANC.
“The ANC steals the money of the people and has been doing so for the past 23 years. Our immediate tactical duty is to unite with all opposition to remove this parasitic and kleptocratic regime of ANC kleptomaniacs,” added the party.
