Sources have confirmed to TMG Entertainment that US rapper Chance will perform in a “private” event in South Africa early next year.
However, considering the nature of the event he’s supposed to perform at ( private), details about his visit to South Africa are not so clear. The event is believed to be a “private” concert of sorts, with just about 1000 people expected to be invited.

Nonetheless, sources have confirmed that rapper Chance will definitey be performing in South Africa soon. In addition, there are speculations that the hip-hop star’s visit is in collaboration with Axe. An official announcement on this private show will be made by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, Chance the Rapper; Kelly Clarkson and gospel star Yolanda Adams will perform at the US White House’s annual National Christmas Tree Lighting. The event will take place December 1st and a free ticket lottery for the general public will begin October 7th.
Yolanda Adams alongside international stars Ne-Yo and Mary Mary will also headline the much-anticipated Essence Music Festival Durban. In addition, international media personalities Steve Harvey; Estelle Swaray and Kelly Price will also grace the occasion. The annual festival which usually takes place in New Orleans will now be extended to South Africa.
The event is scheduled to take place between 8 and 13 November at the iconic Durban ICC and the Moses Mabhida Stadium respectively.
Similarly, award-winning rapper Future has been added to the star-studded lineup set to perform at MTV Africa Music Awards at the Ticketpro Dome in Johannesburg on Saturday, 22 October. The American hip-hop star will be sharing the stage with local stars Cassper Nyovest; Babes Wodumo and Nigerian songstress Yemi Alade at the MAMAs 2016.
