American Music Show Crowns AKA ‘King Of SA Rap’, Fair Or Not?

Xoxo… and SA rapper AKA captures the heart of his fans once again for his outstanding performance during a debut appearance on popular American music show 106 & Park.

Fans are still showering SA rapper AKA with much love from across Africa as he became the first South African rapper to appear on the show.

During the show, the female host who loved what he had to offer, applauded him and referred to him as “the king of SA rap”.

South African artiste AKA and fellow industry rival Cassper Nyovest have been making the country proud by smearing SA local hip hop all over the map in the US.

Currently, the duo stayed back in the States after gracing the annual Black Entertainment Television Awards in Los Angeles held during the weekend.

South African artistes are really making waves in the US as Black coffee won a BET Award, AKA swept the host of American music show 106 & Park off her feet and Cassper Nyovest also made an appearance on US radio station SWAY last week where he attracted criticisms from listeners as he proclaimed himself the ‘South African Kanye West’.

Once again, the debate is back on the social media over who, between the AKA and Cassper, is the greatest.

Meanwhile, as Africa rejoiced with Black coffee on his BET Award on Saturday night, South African artist AKA seemed to be left out of the excitement over DJ Black Coffee’s latest achievement as the first South African artist to win a BET Award.

AKA whose real name is Kiernan Jarryd Forbes refused to join fellow countryman Black Coffee on stage when all the other nominees for the categories were called for a photo shoot.
