Kim Kardashian Paris Robbery: French Police Arrest Suspects


Three months after the Kim Kardashian was robbed in Paris, the French police arrested 17 people in raids early Monday in connection to the traumatic incident.

Apparently, the robbers took everything and left their DNA behind. This made things easier for the police investigation into the matter. Following the discovery of DNA at the luxury residence where the reality TV star was robbed at gunpoint, police was able to arrest six people.

“One of the DNA samples matched an individual known to police for robbery and criminal offences, who is considered a major thug,” a source said.

One of the robbers who were believed to have escaped on bicycles dropped a diamond pendant worth around 30,000 euros on the streets while on the run.

The pendant was handed over to the police by a passer-by hours after the robbery.

US reality TV star Kim Kardashian was tied up and robbed in her residence in Paris last year. The assailants carted away jewelry worth around nine million euros (9.5 million), according to the source.

On the day of the robbery, a gang of armed and masked men burst into the residence where 36-year-old Kardashian and her entourage were staying during fashion week.

They tied her up and locked her in the bathroom while they gathered all the bling, including a ring worth around four million euros and a case of jewelry worth about five million euros.

The Kim Kardashian Paris robbery made the perfect media rounds and left the TV star in shock. Thus, she maintained her silence about the ordeal till this weekend. In a promotional clip for the new season of her hit TV show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”, Kim told her sisters she feared for her life at the time.

“There’s no way out. It makes me so upset to think about it,” she adds.

She has also made her comeback on social media following the robbery.
