The Fighters responded to President Zuma’s claim that the April 7th march against his leadership was racists proclaiming that White racists in South Africa are a product of Daddy Zuma’s ‘house nigger role’.

Yesterday, BuzzSouthAfrica reported that Mr President commented on the recent protests across South Africa against his government saying they demonstrated that racism is real and exists in South Africa.

“Many placards and posters displayed beliefs that we thought had been buried in 1994, with some posters depicting black people as baboons. It is clear that some of our white compatriots regard black people as being lesser human beings or sub-human,” Zuma said.

Reacting to Zuma’s claim about the protests, EFF upheld that anti-black racism must be condemned even on the picket lines and marches. The party stressed that it’s uncool some placards carried anti-black racist messages in the April 7th march.

“…These must be condemned with contempt. Anti-black racism has no place in our country, let alone on the picket lines and marches defending our constitutional order,” EFF specified.

Thereafter, the Fighters demanded of Mr Zuma to be consistent and genuine in his observations of the country’s racism problems.

To them, President Zuma has never done anything to change the conditions that make anti-black racism flourish. But, has always used his state power to loot the coffers of the country for his corrupt interests.

“That white racists still exist 23 years into democracy, brave enough to publicise their racism on social media platforms or picket lines of protests and marches, is itself a sign of the failure of this government, which Zuma leads, to deal with white superiority and the privilege that sustains it as such.

“The ANC, as a liberation movement, should have transformed all the socio-economic conditions that sustain the imagination white people have, that they are superior to blacks.

“However, they spend more time protecting and promoting corruption and lawbreakers than delivering of the mandate of decolonization,” EFF stated.

With that, the party contended that it is disingenuous and hypocritical for Daddy Zuma to condemn anti-black racism displayed in placards at the marches calling for his removal.

“It means anti-black racism matters to Zuma only when it calls for him to step down from the privilege of State office that he occupies… He only cares because it affects his own privilege. Otherwise, he has done nothing to change the conditions that have created black people to be seen as a despised, hated and humiliated people.

“Zuma hopes the country can conflate the call for his removal with the problem of anti-black racism. He hopes we can all start thinking the call for his removal is itself altogether racist.

“The reality is: it is precisely his ‘house nigger’ role of protecting, promoting and advancing a neoliberal economic order that has kept white privilege and black indignity intact.

“It is precisely his inability to see beyond the greed of his stomach that has produced a situation of normalised corruption and lawlessness,” argued the Fighters.

Afterwards, the EFF urged Zuma to drop his head in shame and step down instead of taking a false moral high ground.

“..It is his selfish, nepotistic, and corrupt conduct that has led to the absolute neglect of transforming the socio-economic conditions that have sustained the image of black people as subhuman,” EFF reiterated

Above all, the party asked South Africans to resist the confusion and convolution Zuma wants to create about the marches.

“We must all come out in even bigger numbers and call for his resignation, precisely for the reasons that with him as president, anti-black racism will not be addressed because he only looks out for the selfish interests of his stomach,” added the Fighters.
