However, we may not get to see her character for long as Amor’s storyline is slated to run for a month. But who knows? Anything can happen.
Not too long ago, the award-winning SABC 2 came under fire when the show’s contract with the public broadcaster expired. Afterwards, it was not renewed on time for a new season.
Consequently, an insider from the company which produces 7de Laan – Danie Odendaal Productions, revealed that the production company ran out of funds. In fact, they had to fund the production with their personal money for some months.
Nevertheless, everything seems to have been sorted out and things are back to normal once again.
Also, recent reports claim that SABC group executive Hlaudi Motsoeneng has expressed concern over the amount of money which producers of 7de Laan and Muvhango give their staff and actors.
Hlaudi saw the need to increase the amount of money producers are paying those working for them, saying it is below inflation. Thus, he allegedly met with the soapie bosses to express his concern over the issue. He probably feels that the broadcaster is giving them enough money to take care of their staff.
