The Voice South Africa coaches as we know them will reprise their roles for the second season of the competition which will start in January.
Therefore, all four coaches including Bobby van Jaarsveld, Lira, Karen Zoid and Kahn Morbee are once again swivelling in their red chairs to discover South Africa’s best singing talent.
The coaches are have already started blind auditions for the second season. The event which kicked off on Tuesday evening at Sasani Studios had all four coaches back on their red seats. They listened to and picked talent for their teams.
The auditions held in Johannesburg attracted several talented singers who got standing ovations from the audience. The Voice South Africa coaches fought each other in their usual manner to try and secure the best singers for their teams.
The recordings for the blind auditions will continue this week. Meanwhile, Lungile Radu is back as the presenter while Stacey Norman is interviewing the contestants backstage.
Subsequently, the selected few will compete at the second season of The Voice South Africa which will start on M-Net (DStv 101) on 29 January 2017.
The second season promises a lot of surprises for viewers. And it’s going to get bigger for the various The Voice SA sets used during the blind auditions, the battle rounds and weekly live shows and not forgetting the grand finale. In addition, the episode order has been increased.
This will give the second season a longer timeframe. Thus, viewers will get an opportunity to actually follow and enjoy the show and to listen to the singers battle it out.
It will also give room for more performances and the other surprises that M-Net promised viewers.
