The 26-year-old actress prided herself on her ancestral calling‚ describing it as “a beautiful gift that I will never take for granted.”
After ignoring the rumours about her calling for a while, Boity surprised her followers on Instagram over the weekend with a picture of herself proudly clad a in traditional attire.
the post that followed the photo described her journey which she is proud of and will never give up for anything.
“They Called. I Answered. The Proudest‚ most Incredible day of my life. A Beautiful Gift that I will never take for granted. #ThokozaGogo #KgosigadiDabulamanzi #Blessed#OwnYourThrone‚” she wrote.
As expected, friends and fans who have been waiting patiently flooded the comments section of the post to congratulate their favourite TV personality Boity on her calling.
Fellow actress Letoya Makhene‚ who is herself a traditional healer joined others in congratulating her as she posted a picture of Boity in her traditional clothing and wrote: “You beautiful thing! #Thokoza ngwana badimo! Gola Nkgono!”
Several reports last week claimed that Boity had told friends that she had accepted the call and had successfully completed her training to become a traditional healer.
“Yes I did go thwasa but I’m not going to practice as a sangoma. This is a very sensitive matter that I don’t want to talk about in the media. It’s a personal matter and way too deep to be reduced into a celebrity gossip in the newspaper. It’s a secret. It’s so much deeper‚” Boity said.
Friends and fans wish her well in her journey with her ancestors.
