The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) national spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi’s absence at Parliament and party events will be temporarily but greatly felt following an announcement that the fighter has taken a break from politics to spend time with his books.
The young and wide-mouthed politician is fondly remembered for his influential roles in South African politics. He also stepped up to the plate during coalition war with rival parties, especially with the ANC – whom the EFF defiantly dethroned in three paramount metros.
The EFF also confirmed this in a statement:
“Commissar Fana Mokoena has therefore been appointed to the position of acting national spokesperson; until Commissar Ndlozi can resume his duties in November.”
Spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi Is Fondly Loved
In Parliament, Ndlozi, fondly known as the people’s bae, is one MP known never to accede to wrong grammar or bad habits during sitting and won’t hesitate to lose his cool with erring colleagues.
In a recent video that made rounds on social media this week, he engaged the Home affairs minister in an English class, where he explicitly taught the minister the difference between “coalition” and “collision”. This was after the minister postulated that “the EFF went into collision with other parties”.
Earlier this year, he christened International Relations Minister Maite Nkoana-Mashabane a “sleepist” after the fighter caught the minister sleeping in parliament in an uncomfortable position during a debate.
Outside his political career, Spokesperson Mbuyiseni Ndlozi is hugely loved and followed by numerous ladies – little wonder, he was dubbed ‘the people’s bae’.
Yes, his charming and dashing good looks have continued to evidently draw more ladies to his nest. Although he’s been taken, his cheeky comments, winsome smile, and strongly opinionated political views fuels and intensifies people’s love and admiration for him.
