Jagger has become a dad for the eighth time and everyone is asking if he did the right thing to father a child in his old age.

Fortunately, the couple welcomed a healthy baby in New York and they are over the moon with joy since the arrival. Mick was at the hospital for the birth. Must have been exhausting considering his age and all.

The couple, who have been dating since 2014, were reportedly “surprised and happy” after finding out that they have a baby on the way.

Though the arrival of a baby calls for celebration, Some fans on Twitter had a field day twisting the news. In fact, some were sure they heard “dead” in the news only to discover it was “dad”

Apparently, Jagger’s newborn is in for some serious confusion when he grows up. What’s more, he already has a niece who is two years older.

The singer already has seven children from four previous relationships whose ages range from 17 to 45. His children include Karis; Jade, Elizabeth; James; Georgia; Gabriel and Lucas; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

He became a great-grandfather in May 2014 after his granddaughter Assisi, daughter of Jade Jagger, gave birth to a baby girl. Mick’s love for his children will surely extend to the newest member of the family.

Meanwhile, the Rolling Stones are not ready to make a stop as this is not the first time this is happening in the house. Earlier this year, before Sir Mick Jagger got his good news, Rolling Stones’ guitarist Ronnie Wood became the father of twin girls at 68. Wood already had four children and nine grand-children. His 38-year-old wife Sally Humphreys and mother of his twin girls is a theater producer.
