“Yes, I can confirmed (sic) that he passed this morning at about 09:00 at the hospital, they’re still investigating, but it looks like kidney failure.” It was also confirmed that Sfiso was rushed to hospital on Sunday night.
“His wife called the paramedics. He was feeling weak and he was admitted to hospital at 7.30pm,” Makhabane added.
However, it wasn’t up to 24 hours after the health crisis that the gospel star gave up the the ghost. Subsequently, we were able to confirm from the family that Sfiso Ncwane’s death was caused by kidney failure.
The singing sensation’s family released a statement giving details of how the cold hands of death snatched him away on Monday.
From the statement, we deduced that Ncwane was admitted to the Fourways Life hospital on Sunday. This was after a brief illness which began on Sunday evening at his Johannesburg home.
“He was then admitted and diagnosed with kidney failure and later, was moved to the Intensive Care unit where he unfortunately took his last breath at 9.30am in the presence and arms of his loving wife Ayanda Ncwane,” the family statement said.
According to Move, the Ku Lungile Baba hit maker was vomiting blood on Sunday night.
Therefore, we can comfortably say that the young artist’s career was cut short as a result of kidney failure. Earlier this year, the award-winning gospel star pleaded with fans, asking for their prayers. “Please put me in Prayers I’m not well,” he wrote on social media.
Details about his funeral would be communicated by the family when the time comes.
