After much ado about many things, great South African rappers AKA and Black Coffee seem to have kissed and made up already.

The long-standing feud between the two rappers seemingly came to an end when AKA offered a hand of friendship to DJ Black during his performance at the Spring Fiesta event in Boksburg.

AKA arrived at the event venue with his high-profile girlfriend, Bonang Matheba and went ahead to perform a medley of his hits. The rapper headlined the music festival that attracted thousands of party animals on Saturday. Consequently, he seized the opportunity to announce to an excited crowd that all is well between him and DJ Black. He chatted about Black Coffee and the altercation he had with his road manager Tshiamo at the iRock Festival in Limpopo last weekend.

Meanwhile, AKA waved the matter aside, saying ‘shit happens’. Thus, he offered an olive branch to Black Coffee, calling him a legend.
“I’m in a good space in my life and I’m all about positive energy,” AKA told the crowd. No doubt about that. In fact, his mood was so good that he threw his most-cherished R40000 Versace pendant into the crowd. And now he wants it back! The good news is, he is willing to pay for it.

However, his good mood wasn’t for everyone as sources said the rapper refused to meet other artists at the event. He stayed in his hotel dressing room most of the time.
