Touch Central FM has welcomed Nomzamo Mbatha and Tol Ass Mo into the family and they will be hosting a show called #MyNightShift.weekdays 6-8pm.
The show will run weekdays from 6PM to 8pm. Feeling his accomplishments, Tbo Touch boasted of the latest members of the online radio station.
“This is a growing platform and we’re attracting major talent. These are people who have been approached by other radio stations but know where the future of radio is‚” said Touch.
The platform has been a huge success since the injection of The Touch Down.
Also, Media Personality Scoop Makhathini joined the online radio last month. He will be hosting his own show on Touch Central FM during the weekends.
An excited Tbo Touch‚ who is also the CEO of Touch Central FM took to Twitter to share the news.
“We are looking forward to having Scoop join our growing platform. He is incredibly talented and exactly the kind of person who we want to join us.”
Earlier this year, Touch resigned from Metro FM and went into partnership with Gareth Cliff to launch what he calls the future of radio. In fact, he left a fat paycheck behind to venture into the business idea that gave birth to the online radio.
Subsequently, the platform turned into a huge success with high-profile personalities admitting that Touch is a force to reckon with. Among those who publicly declared support for Touch is EFF leader Julius Malema who took to Twitter to share his feelings.
Malema tweeted that he had joined Gareth Cliff and Tbo Touch’s new online streaming service – Touch Central. He didn’t stop there, he also enlightened us as to why he made the decision.
Apparently, he couldn’t stand Metro FM and its strict 90% local music policy anymore. “I had to do it because Hlaudi destroyed radio, particularly Metro.” Malema added that he has followed Tbo Touch.
