The infamous illuminati accusations plaguing celebrities across the globe has come calling on rapper Nomuzi Mabena.
About two months ago, the rapper became the talk of social media town after she shared a picture of herself and bestie, LootLove.
Apparently, people concluded that the symbols the duo made on their snapshot was related to illuminati. Thus, shots were fired at the pair without considering the fact that they might just be playing around.
According to a fan, Nomuzi had lost all the respect she earned by joining the group.
“I was such a big fan of Nomuzi I still admire you. But whether you are illuminati or not. It’s pretty stupid to do something because other people are doing it. Really. Lost all respect.”
Nevertheless, Nomuzi has on countless occasions refuted the rumours. However, as far as some people are concerned, she’s lying.
Meanwhile, Nomuzi seems to be going with the flow by not allowing the accusations get to her. During a recent interview on CliffCentral, Nomuzi touched on the accusations once again.
When the rumours came up during the interview, Nomuzi seemed unperturbed. She even cracked a joke about being part of the cult. According to her joke, in order to gain entry into the cult, one has to be publicly shamed.
“Oh yeah. We got the Beyonce album first. Kwesta, AKA and Ma-E are also in it and the Mabala Noise artists could also be in it,” she joked.
Talking on a more serious note, she questioned why personalities couldn’t just be successful without being linked to secret cults.
Nomuzi Mabena is not the first artist to have been linked to the Illuminati and it is almost certain that she will not be the last. Other celebrities like DJ Black Coffee, Cassper Nyovest and Emtee have all had their share of illuminati accusations.
