Rebecca Malope is a South African gospel artist and media personality; she has been in the music industry for over 30 years and has over 30 albums to her name. Her live performances are usually done alongside her band ‘Pure Magic’; Malope is not just loved locally, but internationally.

About Rebecca Malope

Rebecca Malope was born on the 30th of June 1968 in Kanyamazane, South Africa. Rebecca is happily married to Themba Tshabalala; a union which was kept private and out of public eyes.

Despite being told by her doctor that she couldn’t bear children, in 2004; Rebecca got pregnant, though she lost her baby through a miscarriage. She eventually adopted her late sister’s children; bringing them up with love and care.
