Minnie Dlamini is a South African beauty known for her role as a presenter on SABC 1’s show – Live.
She has been active in South Africa’s entertainment arena since 2010.
Her relationship with Itumeleng Khune was also somewhat of a fixture in South Africa’s entertainment news. Minnie is not just a television personality but an actress, model and Radio DJ as well.
Minnie was born Minenhle Dlamini on the 7th of July, 1990 in Durban in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa.
She is currently twenty-six years old.
Minnie also grew up in Durban.
She attended Northland Girls High School and moved on to University of Cape Town for higher education.
When the search for the Live presenter was underway in 2010.
Minnie was still a student at University of Cape Town in the Western Cape of South Africa.
The search for Live’s Presenter began in April and Minnie was announced as the winner by June, making her television debut on one of the most watched shows in South Africa.
Other presenters on the show included Bonang Matheba, Phila Mazibuko, MTV VJ Sizwe Dhlomo and Tbo Touch.
The star power of the other cast members gave Minnie a difficult task of coming to her own against the wattage of the celeb presenters already on the show.
However, she was not only able to achieve this but also achieve it in a timely manner.
Within a few months of scoring the gig on SABC 1’s live, she scored a role as Miranda on Generations – an SABC 1 soap opera.
Being cast on the popular series – Generations, as well as her increasing exposure on Live provided her an unprecedented platform for instant fame more than any other newcomer had seen.
Her stay on Live was only limited but it was for good reasons. Minnie Dlamini and Phila Mazibuko were moved to headline another SABC 1 show – Mzansi Insider.
Minnie Dlamini’s position as one of South Africa’s biggest ‘It-girl’ was solidified during her stay on Mzansi Insider.
In 2001, Minnie joined the cast of M-Net’s The Wild as Zintle Lebone.
Being a new show, it had to depend on the star power of its cast members some of which were Faye Peters, Shona Ferguson, Connie Ferguson and Tumisho Masha.
However, despite the accumulated star power, the show was cancelled after two seasons.
After this, Minnie co-presented at the 2012 Miss South Africa. She also appeased on SABC 1’s Turn It Out as a guest judge.
In 2013, Minnie Dlamini was cast as Nosipho Bogatsu on M-Net’s Rockville. Minnie co-hosted the 14th Annual Metro FM music awards on the 28th of February, 2015.
She presented alongside T-Bo at the Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre (Durban ICC).
The post award interviews of the awards were hosted by Pearl Modiade at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
Minnie Dlamini was also a presenter at the 9th Annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs) on the 22nd of March, 2015.

Minnie’s personal life has had a permanent place in the cycles of tabloid headlines since her spill onto the entertainment scene of South Africa.
For much of that time, she has been in a relationship with Itumeleng Khune, who is the goalkeeper for the Kaizer Chiefs and the Men’s National Football Team of South Africa.
While their relationship was faced with many ups and downs, the two were together for a lengthy period and were the epitome of celebrity couples during their stead.
Currently, Minnie has admitted to be in a new relationship.
However, for privacy sake, she has refused to reveal the identity of her new beau.
Minnie’s houses, Minnie’s dress and Minnie’s fashion are definitely the envy of many around the world but the collection of hers that inspires true envy is her collection of cars.
Minnie’s is openly a fan of Jeeps and BMWs. During her time, she has driven a lot of Jeeps but I must admit, it’s her BMWi8 that steals my heart.
