About Ab De Villiers

Abraham Benjamin de Villiers was born on the 17th of February 1984 in Warmbad, Limpopo province of South Africa. His father was a doctor, but was very active in sports in his days. His father’s sporting lifestyle rubbed off on him at an early age and saw Villiers engage in various sports. Though he was pretty good in Tennis, Rugby and Golf; De Villiers decided to focus on a professional career in cricket from the age of 18.

De Villiers is married to Danielle Swarts and they both have a son together. Apart from cricket, he’s also into music and has a pop album by the name ‘Maak Jou Drome Waar’.

As of 2016, Ab De Villiers is estimated to be worth over $15 Million; with a $3.5 Million IPL & South African Central contract, and endorsement deals worth over $2 Million.
