President-elect of the United States of America Mr. Donald Trump has unveiled six policy points his government will tackle in his first 100 days in office once he resumes on January 20.

In a Youtube video released on Monday, the Republican steered clear of his most inflammatory campaign promises to deport immigrants and track Muslims.

He, however, reiterated in the two-and-a-half minute infomercial-style video that the first policy he would tackle is to pull America out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal on his first day in office.

The Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal is President Barack Obama’s signature trade initiative. The deal was signed in February by 12 countries and covers 40 percent of the world’s economy.

The twelve countries that signed the trade deal include; Japan, the US, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam.

Trump has been a vocal critic of the Obama trade initiative. According to the President-elect in 2015, the trade deal is nothing but a national disaster for the United States of America and must be buried because it placed Americans behind itself.

In its place, Donald Trump said the States will be better off if fair, productive deals that give birth to jobs and all whatnots are negotiated and contracted.

On other policies, he promised to develop a “comprehensive plan” to combat cyber attacks and launch an immigration investigation into “all abuses of visa programs that undercut the American worker”.

On ethics, Mr. Trump also pledged to “impose a five-year ban on executive officials becoming lobbyists after they leave the administration – and a lifetime ban on executive officials lobbying on behalf of a foreign government.”

On regulation, he vowed to implement a new rule that would eliminate two regulations for every new one.

“..Whether it’s producing steel, building cars or curing diseases, I want the next generation of production and innovation to happen right here, in our great homeland: America – creating wealth and jobs for American workers,” Trump added.

The short video paved way for the public to directly listen to Trump since his victory two weeks ago. Since his election, he has made his cabinet choice public through press releases.
