Once again, students who are in dire need of financial aid will be getting the help they need from Metro FM presenter Mo Flava who teamed up with Boston Media House to make the world a better place.
The radio jock and club DJ is giving away 10 bursaries to potential students with a minimum diploma entry matric certificate. This will mark the 7th year in a row that Mo Flava is extending a helping hand to deserving students.
“It’s a privilege to be able to contribute towards educating the future members of the media industry. The students that have gone on to graduate are doing amazing things in their respective fields and I strongly believe their Boston Media House training has positively contributed to the success in their careers, as it has in mine,” says Mo Flava.
Notably, only students who are interested in studying media related courses including; radio, TV, music production, graphic design etc. are likely to get the bursaries. Apparently, the scheme has done remarkably well and has groomed a lot of professionals in the field.
Audition will be held on the dates below for interested candidates;
21 January, 2017 – Pretoria (9am – 4pm)
28 January, 2017 – Sandton (9am – 4pm)
Metro FM presenter Mo Flava will personally preside over the auditions on the set dates. Seemingly obsessed with the idea that people need to be really good in their various fields, Mo Flava wants to make sure bursaries go to the right people.
Thus, after the interviews, 10 deserving candidates will be selected to receive the bursaries. A nice way to give back.
Mo Flava, real name Moeti Tsiki, and counterpart Lerato Kganyago took over from Tbo Touch on his Metro FM gig following his resignation.
