Police department in Bulawayo which is one of Zimbabwe’s largest cities, are reportedly on the look out for three women who have been termed sperm collectors. The three mystery women allegedly harvested the semen of a hitch-hiker they gave a lift along a main road in Bulawayo.
BuzzSouthAfrica gathered that the three suspected sperm collectors were cruising around in a white Toyota Cresta when they picked their victim.
According to police spokesperson Inspector Precious Simango, the report is authentic but that there is no trace of the suspected sperm collectors yet.
The police reported that when caught, the three will be facing charges of aggravated indecent assault.
Due to the fact that there is no recognition of the raping of men in the Zimbabwean laws, any person suspected of raping a man will be charged with aggravated assault, which according to Section 67 of the Criminal Law Code, provides for a fine or imprisonment for a period not exceeding two years, or both depending on the circumstances.
Between 2009-2011, the sperm harvest “trade” was catholic in the southern African country, as beautiful women in their numbers (usually a group) picked up male hitch-hikers to have sex and eventually harvest their sperm in condoms. Now, it seems they back in business.
In October 2011, Zimbabwean police arrested three women in the country’s fifth largest city of Gweru along with a plastic bag containing 31 used condoms with the contents intact.
However, due to lack of evidence, the women were subsequently released in March 2012.
Reports coming from the local media at the time said that victims of the highway sperm collectors were drugged, subdued at gun or knife point or with a live snake in one occasion, given a sexual stimulant and eventually forced into sex to collect their semen before dumping them by the roadside.
