Daddy Jacob Gedleyihlekisa Zuma is a man with many wives, and reports have it that one of his wives was ordered to stay off the Nkandla premises by the State Security Minister David Mahlobo.
Three of President Zuma’s children and his wife – Nompumelelo MaNtuli-Zuma have not been living with daddy Zuma at the infamous Nkandla. They have been living in Greytown, outside Pietermaritzburg.
MaNtuli is the second of the President Zuma’s four wives. The first time her name graced the front pages of SA newspapers, it was alleged that she had an affair with her bodyguard – Phinda Thomo.
Thomo died mysteriously in 2009, and again, she made headline news in 2014 after a Tanzanian businessman disclosed that MaNtuli paid him to kill Thomo.
Yet again, we read about MaNtuli after she allegedly tried to murder Zuma. That, was why she was ordered to stay off the Nkandla premises by the State Security Minister,” BuzzSouthAfrica gathered.
Confirming this, MaNtuli’s attorney told news24 that “MaNtuli has not been residing at the Nkandla homestead since January 2015, after having been instructed by Minister of State Security, David Mahlobo, to vacate the Nkandla residence, pending an alleged investigation.
She is currently residing, together with her three minor children, in a house in the Greytown area…My client’s three minor children are enrolled in a school in the Greytown area” added Ulrich Roux, the director of BDK Attorneys.
Speaking on why MaNtuli has not been seen in public and with President Zuma, Roux stated:
“She spends most of her time looking after her minor children and ensuring that their needs and requirements are cared for. She is, furthermore, involved in numerous charities and fundraising work…
It is not her choice whether she accompanies him (Zuma) or not…She has parental duties and responsibilities pertaining to her three minor children and these duties are her main priority.”
MaNtuli was a mother to two of Zuma’s children before she married him in 2008.
