Seems like Metro FM is not alone in the presenter reshuffling strategy as Kaya FM has also changed their line-up with new hosts like David O’Sullivan joining the family.

Taking to Twitter, the broadcaster listed all the new hosts and their time slots at the station. This comes after the changes were announced at a press conference.

Earlier this week, Bob Mabena resigned from the station after more than a decade. The veteran radio jock is set to leave at the end of the month to start his new job at media company MSG Afrika Group.

Bob has been appointed as MSG Afrika Group’s group head of programming for their MSG Broadcasting subsidiary, effective 1 May 2017. A press statement released by MSG last week, revealed that Bob will present his breakfast show, 180 with Bob at Kaya FM until the end of the month.

MSG Afrika Group is the license holder of four commercial radio stations including Power FM, Capricorn FM, upcoming station Rhythm FM and BEAT FM.

Bob’s new job entails overseeing the talent and content output in the four group stations, namely Limpopo’s Hottest Frequency, Capricorn FM, Gauteng based talk radio station, POWER 98.7, and also the soon to be launched Rhythm FM and Beat FM in the Eastern Cape and Free State, respectively. The radio veteran will also support individual station managers in growing commercial value for their clients.
