Jamaican Sprinter Usain Bolt Scoops Third Successive 200 Metres Gold


In a determined bid to maintain his title as the fastest man in the world, Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt has breezed his way to win the men’s 200 metres gold for the third consecutive time on Thursday.

The unbeatable sprinter crossed the line in 19.78 seconds at the Rio Olympic stadium.

Canada’s Andre de Grasse was hot on Bolt’s heels but had to settle for silver. Christophe Lemaitre finished third to claim bronze for France.

Meanwhile, Bolt has already won the Rio 100 metres. To wrap it up, he will go for a third straight sweep of all three sprint golds in the 4×100 metres relay on Friday.

Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt became the first male to win three consecutive 100m Olympic gold medal in the final on Sunday.

Basically the world’s fastest man ever timed, Usain Bolt was cheered by an audience as he entertained them but not on the tracks.

Prior to the commencement of the heats, Bolt had a good time at a press conference at the Rio Olympic Games 2016. He was captured on camera dancing the Samba with a line of Brazilian showgirls and seemed to be having the time of his life.

Aside being an athlete, Bolt also sees himself as an entertainer and sure had a good time with the girls on stage.

Bolt who is competing in what he has said will be his last Olympics has trademarked his name and his signature “Lightning Bolt” pose. He is so popular that he even has an emoji.
