Letshego Zulu Relives Her Financial Struggles After Gugu’s Death

In as much as it’s hard to believe, Letshego Zulu, the widow of Gugu Zulu is struggling to make ends meet both emotionally and financially.

Sadly, a lot people are under the impression that she is so guaped up since the loss of her husband Gugu. However, Letshego painted a different picture when she relived the financial struggles she has had to face since Gugu’s death.

After seven months of losing her husband on Mount Kilimanjaro, Letshego has been through the worst things life has to offer. In addition to mourning the love of her life, she has admitted that she also had to battle financial woes while waiting for Gugu’s estate to be finalised.

In an interview with Gareth Cliff on CliffCentral‚ Letshego said that a lot of people are under the impression that she and late Gugu lived a luxurious lifestyle. As a result, they have concluded that she inherited a huge amount of money after his death. In fact, some people go as far as asking her for financial assistance, bearing in mind that she has more than enough to give.



Notwithstanding, here’s Letshego’s side of the story;

“Motorsport is a hobby in our country. Gugu had to literally hold down three‚ four jobs at one time…We both had to work hard. There are not millions that I am sitting on. People actually think that I am sitting on millions because I get random emails from people asking me to help them financially since my husband passed away‚ and I’m like ‘are you kidding me?’” Letshego said.

She said that her instinct as a survivor has kept her going. Though it’s not going to be easy without her husband by her side, she plans to keep fighting for the sake of their daughter.

Letshego Zulu also admitted that when the time comes, she would like to find love and be happy once again.
