EFF Has Taken It’s Economic Combat To A New Pleasant Level

BuzzSouthAfrica has been informed that the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) have taken their combat to a new pleasant level. The deputy president of the opposition party – Floyd Shivambu who’s as well the Parliamentary Chief Whip will be handing out learning material to more than 200 Grade 12 Learners in schools he adopted at Malamulele, Limpopo.

Okay, don’t think he’ll be giving out some inconsequential teaching support materials. Shivambu as gathered, is set to distribute “Study Guides for all learners studying Mathamatics, Life Sciences, Accounting and English, video lessons sourced from Amoricom and Mindset Learn, Laptops, Projectors and Screens.”

Now you’re applauding huh? Wait, that’s not all. He’ll “also assist all the 200 Learners with Career information and admission/bursary applications to post secondary and training institutions, inclusive of Universities, Universities of Technology and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) colleges.”

And also, “donate Sports kits and balls for the Learners who are engaged in Sports in order to inspire their full sporting development.” The deputy EFF president will be doing all those tomorrow at George Sonto and Mphambo High Schools.

The adoption of schools as gathered, “is inspired by the EFF’s commitment to take practical action in empowering schools, particularly in disadvantaged communities,” and it is a commitment enabled “through a programme where all EFF Members of Parliament and Provincial Legislatures are expected to adopt schools which they support with essential needs and other services.”

Also, the EFF related that it has further expressed the commitment through its “demand to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange that all listed companies should adopt a minimum of 100 Schools and ensure that they have essential Learning and Teaching Support Materials.”

EFF called on “all Members of Parliament, Graduates, Companies, State Owned Enterprises, Embassies and ordinary individuals to adopt schools and provide essential and basic support materials.”

That they did because they believe education is the foundation for full attainment of economic freedom. And as such, everyone ought to “play a central and critical role in educating the nation.”
