Change according to Democratic Alliance (DA), is coming to South Africa and the catalyst will be your vote. The opposition party has again called on South Africans to join them build a nation every citizen will be proud of. A nation “where freedom, fairness and opportunity exists for all. This follows an assertion by the party that the “ANC is turning on a weak and compromised Zuma”.
DA related that the Senior Eastern Cape ANC heavyweight Thobile Mhlahlo, “in a scathing attack on President Jacob Zuma” admitted that “the ANC’s national leadership continues to make poor decisions.”
As narrated, Mhlahlo in “a debate on Bay TV in Port Elizabeth last night where the DA’s Nqaba Bhanga MP squared up against political counterparts, cracked under pressure and turned his back on Zuma.”
Celebrating Mhlahlo’s lash on Zuma as a confirmation that the President’s actions “are effectively destroying the party, and the country,” the DA indicated that “as a senior member of the ANC’s Nelson Mandela Bay Regional Task Team, Mhlahlo’s admissions paint a picture of factionalism, infighting and a rapidly deteriorating organisation.
More and more divisions are arising due to Zuma’s compromised and incoherent leadership, characterised by various senior ANC leaders and influencers contradicting and denouncing the actions of the President and multiple cabinet ministers.”
With that, the opposition party stated further that “the consistently poor service delivery record of the ANC in government, framed by perpetual corruption and increasing unemployment,” along with the “additional revelation of internal division, highlights the urgent need for change.”
Thus, the opposition party called on South Africans to help them bring about a change that “will fight corruption, create jobs and make sure service delivery excellence in Nelson Mandela Bay, and across the country.
Change is coming to South Africa and our vote will be the catalyst. Let’s build a nation we can all be proud of, one where freedom, fairness and opportunity exist for all,” DA pleads.
