It’s probably because the deceased fellow was a fan of the singer, whatever the case may be, these church members did justice to Babes Wodumo’s Wololo at a funeral.
Currently, Babes Wodumo can be counted as one of the most influential musicians in Mzansi. The young star has continued to wax strong in spite of criticisms bedeviling her career. While some say she’s a bad influence, others accuse her of promoting hard drugs with the title of one of her hits.
Notwithstanding, party goers, students on a protest match and even churchgoers seem to chose her music more often.
This can be seen in a video that went viral on social media which shows a church choir singing and dancing to Babes Wodumo’s Wololo the best way they could. As a matter of fact, they nailed it. They succeeded in making the arrangement sound very church-like while the harmonies will blow your mind.
The video which was posted by Kwazi Mnqobi Mdletshe on Facebook shows the choir swinging to the rhythm of the song. Apparently, the deceased loved the song. Thus, the church mates decided to sing it as a parting gift.
Meanwhile, Babes Wodumo’s former manager Victor Dlokolo was recently accused of defrauding West Ink Records which the singer is signed to.
Via a lengthy post on Babes’ Instagram, West ink boss and singer Mampintsha who is also dating Babes, pointed accusing fingers towards the singer’s former manager.
