When two entertainment stars in the continent hit the Coke Studio, we can’t expect anything short of a masterpiece.
There will be fireworks in the Coke Studio this week, as Mzansi’s Cassper Nyovest and Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz team up for a Coke Studio African fusion.
The two worked hard in the studio to cook up a dope track. Cassper and Diamond are really putting in their best to quickly come up with that track that will wow the audience.
Also, Gemini Major worked his magic on the production. This makes the track even more promising and Cassper seems excited about it. He was even spotted, dancing to the sound of the track along the hallways.
Diamond’s unique Swahili flavour, Cassper’s Motswako feel and Major’s touch birthed a captivating sound that you just can’t resist. The musician said his collaboration with Cassper was a dream come true and Cassper says the feeling is mutual. Apparently, they cooked up a dope one in the studio because Diamond can’t wait for fans to witness the unique African fusion.
Also, coming your way this week – Funk-Rock band, Nje from Durban, and Limpopo Hip-Hop artist, SpaceMunna, are paired together. They will have the help of legendary producer Denholm Harding.
Nje’s is seen struggling to find the right notes while in the recording booth. She made us wonder if she will be able to get the task done. Nevertheless, everything soon falls into place.
You can’t just afford to miss this fascinating mix from some of the continent’s biggest talents. It will be fun as promised.
Tune in to watch Coke Studio every Saturday on e.tv, 6:05pm. It’s gonna be dope.
