While struggling to come to terms with the death of the father of her kids, Afrikaans singer Amor Vittone has revealed that she’s also battling money problems.

An exclusive interview with Huisgenoot revealed that the singer has allegedly been struggling to make ends meet following the death of her estranged husband, Joost van der Westhuizen.

Amor told the local magazine that after Joost’s death, she was told that she had to take over payments for all the bills that he used to foot including; medical aid, their kids’ school fees and extramural activities, water and electricity, levies. Also, she had to pay the domestic worker and gardener’s salaries.

The load according to Amor, is too much for her to carry. Apparently, her income is not enough to take care of their two kids – Jordan (13) and Kylie (11) and herself.

Contrary to what she’s going through presently, Amor said that before his death, Joost assured her that everything will be taken care of when he dies. This means that their children won’t lack anything after he dies.

However, a few months after his death, Amor is already crying out that there is not enough money in the estate to take care of the needs of their children. In fact, Amor alleged that she struggles to get answers from Joost’s family and legal team.

Former Springbok scrumhalf and captain Joost van der Westhuizen died in February this year. He was 45 years old.

The legend had been battling with a motor neuron disease since 2011. While he was showing signs of recovery, the disease appeared to take its toll on him and his health started deteriorating over the years.
